At BlackTea-Shirts, we believe every item you buy should match the intention it was created with—truthful, purposeful, and made to represent your voice. While we stand behind every design and every word printed, we also know that sometimes things don’t turn out as expected. That’s why we’ve created a return process that reflects the same level of respect and clarity we put into our work.

If you need to return an item, we’ve laid out everything you need to know below. Please read carefully before starting the return process.

Items Eligible for Return

Customers can request a return within 14 days of receiving their order. In order for a return to be approved, the product must meet the following conditions:

  • Unworn and Unwashed: The clothing must be in the same condition as received. No signs of wear, use, washing, or stretching.
  • Original Packaging: Items should be returned with their original tags and packaging. Any missing labels or inserts may result in the denial of the return.
  • Clean and Undamaged: The product must be free of scents, deodorant marks, makeup stains, or any damage caused after delivery.
  • Books Must Be Untouched: If returning a book, it must be unmarked, unused, and in original condition without any folded pages or writing.
  • Final Sale Exclusions: Items purchased during sales, limited-run campaigns, or marked as “final sale” cannot be returned or refunded under any condition.

We reserve the right to inspect and refuse returns that do not follow these standards.

How to Begin Your Return

To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@blackteashirts.com with your order number, the name of the product you’re returning, and a brief explanation of why you’re sending it back.
  2. Once we review your request (typically within 1–2 business days), we will send you instructions, including the correct return address.
  3. Carefully repackage the item and send it back. Please note: return shipping is the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a trackable service to avoid issues.

Returned items are inspected within 3–5 business days after we receive them.

When and How You’ll Receive Your Refund

Once your return is approved, you’ll receive a full refund issued back to your original payment method. Refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days. You’ll receive an email notification once your refund has been completed.

Please keep in mind:

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • If the refund is delayed beyond the timeline provided, we advise checking with your bank or card provider before contacting us.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

We take our packaging and quality checks seriously, but if your item arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product:

  • Email support@blackteashirts.com within 5 days of receiving your order.
  • Include a clear photo of the product and describe the issue.
  • If approved, we’ll send a replacement or offer a full refund, at no cost to you.
